International employee meeting
100% Munich. 30% precipitation. 100% enjoyment.
A lack of sunshine is hardly a reason for a bad mood, as evidenced by the employees of a corporate consulting firm at its international meeting in Munich. The ‘mood-o-meter’ remained high even in the face of some drizzle. The secret was a varied agenda – and enough umbrellas.
The participants got to pick their poison between flying over Olympiastadion, taking a deep dive into beer production and peeking behind the scenes at a distillery. Didn’t matter! Each of the programmes was equally exciting as the others.
In particular, jumping off and flying from 40 metres in the air from the roof of Olympiastadion in the Flying Fox caused a few extra drops on the foreheads of the 115 participants. In contrast to that major adrenaline rush, the brewery tour followed by a tour of the city was more like a walk in the park.
During the visit to Destillers Bar, on the other hand, the focus was entirely on those precious drops – lessons in the production of spirits were all too fascinating.
And in the end, the Bavarian specialities served to everyone at dinner ensured that by the end of the meeting the worst of the weather had been forgotten. Instead, the day will live in their memories as the ‘best of Munich’.
