Kick-off. Take-off. Best of.

One day of travelling there, two days to set up, two days of event and one day of travelling back – that comes to just under a week of non-stop action – including 65 km clocked up on the pedometer while there.

The especially challenging thing about this year’s Vodafone kick-off? Two previously separate events were run concurrently, meaning conferences and parties were held for both the Enterprise and Consumer divisions within the space of 48 hours. Incidentally, for more than 2,200 guests.

Vodafone’s Marketing and Sales employees met for the conferences and partied at Düsseldorf’s Station Airport with the theme TAKEOFF2018. The proceedings were proficiently and entertainingly moderated by Nina Heinrichs and Nina Moghaddam, who also oversaw the award ceremony for the top teams.

Everything ran like clockwork thanks to the quite literally round-the-clock endeavours of Service Factory, which split into a daytime and a night-time team. The general consensus? The event really took off.
